The Operations Lab is a collaborative project between wbk and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). As part of the project, a team consisting of two KIT students and two MIT students is formed to work on a use case provided by Porsche. The project takes place in the spring, from the end of February to the beginning of May. The project work is supervised by an experienced manager from industry and includes two weeks on site. This includes one week at Porsche in Zuffenhausen and one week at MIT in Boston, with the final presentation taking place on site at MIT. In addition to professional development in the context of the use case, the joint project aims to promote intercultural exchange and work in an international project team.
