The team of the wbk Institute of Production Engineering is very pleased to announce that Prof. Gisela Lanza, head of the institute, is now officially a member of the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina. During a ceremonial event, Prof. (ETHZ) Dr. Gerald Haug, Leopoldina President, presented the certificate and introduced Prof. Gisela Lanza, head of the wbk Institute of Production Engineering, and her field of research.
The two-day event was rounded off with a symposium on "Energy storage - The key to the energy turnaround?".
