YADE - Project

The YADE-Project is based on a strategic alliance which consists of a total of three PPP-Projects (Public Private Partnerships). Partners of the alliance are the enterprises BSH Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances, Heidelberger Printing Presses and MTU Friedrichshafen. Within the development project

"Synergetic and sustainable qualification and promotion of Chinese enterprises – YADE – 亚德"

the alliance partners are working in cooperation with the wbk Institute of Production Technique and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The content of the cooperation are in particular a collective training of Chinese suppliers and the granting of a supplier award in China in fields such as quality management, production planning, logistics, manufacturing technology, environmental protection and occupational health and safety. Altogether within the YADE-Project 54 Chinese enterprises will be supported in their sustainable development and trainings for more than 120 enterprises in China will be conducted.

Objectives
The objectives of the YADE-Project are comprehensive and holistic developments of Chinese enterprises to achieve a harmonization with international standards in the fields of production planning, quality assurance, internal logistics, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, social standards and the ability of the companies to cooperate with global acting enterprises.

Content
The YADE-Project is separated into the three subprojects On-Site development, supplier training and supplier award.
Within subproject 1, On-Site development , teams of experts with members from industry companies as well as from university institutes will accomplish a contribution to development and qualification at the local Chinese enterprises.
The supplier trainings that are provided within subproject 2 in cooperation with Chinese universities serve to transfer internationally approved expertise as well as background knowledge.
The granting of a supplier award within subproject 3 offers incentives to implement development measures for enterprises which are eager to improve.
