Circular production - paving the way for a sustainable future

The Karlsruhe Autumn Conference is a well-known platform in research and industry for cross-industry exchange on forward-looking topics. Under the motto “Circular Production - Paving the Way for a Sustainable Future”, this year's Autumn Conference will take place on November 6, 2024 at the KIT in Karlsruhe. You can expect exciting presentations, in-depth specialist discussions and a wide range of networking opportunities. You will also gain insights into the newly built circular factory at the wbk, where research is being conducted into concepts for the fully autonomous operation of a factory with integrated linear and circular production on an industrial scale. You can look forward to it!

The circular economy is an industrial model that decouples production output from the use of resources and is therefore inherently restorative and regenerative. It is regarded as a promising approach to reducing humanity's global consumption of resources to a sustainable level. At this year's fall conference, the topic of the circular economy will be examined and discussed from the perspectives of business models, logistics, upgrading/updating and already successfully integrated concepts from industry in the context of circular production.

We look forward to your participation!
