The Project Management Agency Karlsruhe (PTKA) is responsible for the German program “Innovations for Tomorrow’s Production, Services, and Work” on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The German ReKoNeT project is funded by BMBF within this program and is the German contribution to the EUREKA Cluster SmartCoNeT project.

The DLR project management agency (DLR Projektträger/PT) has been involved in research, education and innovation in Germany for more than four decades. As one of the largest project management agencies in Germany, our highly qualified employees currently manage more than 10,000 projects and around 1.4 billion Euros in research funds. The DLR project management agency works on behalf of federal ministries, the European Commission, federal states, scientific organisations, foundations and associations. It advises on strategies and programmes, provides technical and administrative support for research funding projects, supports knowledge transfer and the exploitation of research results. Its spectrum of topics ranges from education, equal opportunities, health, society, innovation, technology, environment and sustainability to European and international cooperation. The portfolio of the DLR project management agency is enhanced by the Competence Centres for Science Communication, Public Relations as well as Analysis and Evaluation. The DLR project management agency is a central pillar of the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt or DLR) and complements its scientific orientation. Further DLR-PT is the national contact point for the SMART Cluster program.

CDTI

The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) is a Public Business Entity, answering to the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, which fosters the technological development and innovation of Spanish companies. It is the entity that channels the funding and support applications for national and international R&D&i projects of Spanish companies. The CDTI thus seeks to contribute to improving the technological level of the Spanish companies. Financial and economic-technical assessment of R&D projects implemented by companies. o Managing and fostering Spanish participation in international technological cooperation programs. o Fostering international business technology transfer and support services for technological innovation. o Supporting the setting up and consolidating technological companies. The CDTI employs over 300 people, three quarters of whom are engineers and graduates. Even though the bulk of the CDTI infrastructure is in Madrid, the Centre offers Spanish companies a strategic network of offices or representatives abroad (Japan -SBTO (Spain Business and Technology Office)-, Belgium -SOST (Spain Office of Science and Technology) and the Eureka Permanent Secretariat -, Brazil -FINEP (Study and Project Funder)-, Korea, Chile, Morocco, China, India, Mexico and the USA) to support their international technology activities.

KIAT

The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology KIAT is the industrial technology policy development and implementation agency of the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy (MOTIE). KIAT’s major functions include amongst others the promotion of regional industries, the support of commercialization, technological transfer and international innovation cooperation. Together with being the Korean NPC for EUREKA, KIAT is also an active participant in Horizon 2020.
